Grayslake, incorporated in 1895, offers the charm of small-town life with big-city amenities. Located in northeast Illinois about 40 miles north of downtown Chicago, Grayslake is situated in central Lake County, about six miles west of Interstate 94 (exit Route 120 West – Belvidere Road). It is approximately halfway between Chicago and Milwaukee.

Grayslake currently has about 20,000 residents. According to official census reports, the population has grown from 7,400 in 1990 to 18,500 in 2000. The population is expected to grow to about 22,000 total residents.
These properties are located on Center Street in downtown Grayslake, a fast-growing area of central Lake County. The buildings are strategically located on a main east-west traffic artery and get plenty of visibility with 10,000 cars driving by per day. In the downtown Grayslake area, four new condo complexes are being built within walking distance of the lofts.
Grayslake is home to College of Lake County, a community college serving the area's educational needs. College of Lake County also hosts “University Center,” which serves as a satellite location for courses from some of the finest universities and colleges.
Downtown Grayslake is surrounded by upscale heritage homes that attract professionals with families. The community also includes a public library, an outdoor swimming pool, a 78-acre recreational lake with public beach, bicycle trails, and a skateboard park. Residents are within a 15-minute drive of major shopping centers, several golf courses, the Chain of Lakes and Lake Michigan marinas, beaches, state parks, hundreds of acres of forest preserves, winter skiing and snowmobiling, and Great America Amusement Park.
